Size is the first major variable
The playing format determines how much surface and supporting infrastructure is required. Sports Camp Infra's football service page discusses 5-a-side, 7-a-side and 11-a-side formats, each with different planning requirements.
Artificial grass specification
Pile height, fiber construction, backing and infill affect performance and cost. A commercial facility with frequent play needs a system selected for traffic, ball roll, player traction and maintenance requirements.
Base preparation and drainage
A durable football turf begins below the carpet. Excavation, grading, aggregate layers, geotextile and drainage routes may be required depending on the site. In a monsoon-prone environment, drainage deserves special attention.
Fencing and lighting
Perimeter fencing or netting protects the playing area and keeps the ball in play. LED lighting is commonly needed for evening commercial use. Pole layout and glare control should be planned with the turf and surrounding buildings in mind.
Other project costs
You may also need gates, player benches, signage, electrical work, landscaping, water access or spectator areas. These should be listed separately so the initial construction scope remains clear.
Getting an accurate estimate
Provide dimensions, site photographs, location, access information and the intended playing format. A site visit can identify civil and drainage requirements that cannot be priced accurately from an online enquiry alone.
